Hoss the Boss from the Corpses Crispy, as plagerized in Best in Texas Magazine. An important Zine unlike the Hoss who they steal filler from. HosstheBoss.com deserves a free ad when they need more filler. Da best da internet got from da Corpes Crispy, Texass.

@Catfish Jim Prewitt,
It’s interesting that you say I’m bitter. Not bitter at all! (That’s why I didn’t go ahead and sue Best in Texas even though I had a case.)

I’m just pointing out that the whole system (even Pat Green’s part) would probably be better off if people broke a lot of their bad habits that tend to put money ahead of music.

When people like you and me can go to a concert and spend most of the time there actually listening to the music instead of talking business with cronies, I’ll quit “bitchin’”. Oh wait. I just did that last weekend at the CD release party of my friend Hilda Lamas. (Now that is a tight band. Very exciting to hear all the stuff Hilda can do with her voice! And who knew her sister could sing as well as her! Oh yeah, what about John Cortez and Luther!)

You been to any concerts lately? You think Hilda could get a few spins on your show? I’ve also got some great stuff from Dave Martinez, Kat Moore, Johnny Tex, and about 300 other bands that will never appear on the charts but that Sacramento would probably love.

I’m not trying to be bitter. Just askin’ questions.

Off to eat a pizza!

Hey Hoss...just read your article. Many valid points you have especially with boggus music charts. That's a big problem in the world of Corporate radio as you call it.

What troubles me Hossey is you never seem to be happy. Lighten up a bit. Life's too short to be bitter all the time.

I like your style and what you've done with Hoss the Boss.com. You have many positives to talk about. Bitching and Moaning get's you no where.

Shit Hoss, nopbody will hire me in CC. I had the best ratings ever. I could bitch, moan and groan because the usual catfish haters still tell stories about me 20 years later that i'm SO difficult to work with. So be it. No use in obsessing about it.

It's obvious YOU are a very talented and passionate believer in Independent Music. I concur, just keep it POSITIVE and less Negative. There are many talented and passionate people on both sides fighting for a break.

Pat Green said recently, I don't get these peoples attitudes that say I "Sold Out" because i have a "Hit" song. That's absurd!

I agree with Pat Green! It's the American way Hossey...Make great music and make lot's a money.

Hoss, you just keep plugging away. That is a strength. I keep plugging away too. How about letting a purchase count one vote. I like your perseverence. Let people put their money where their vote is.

Money seem's to be the root of all evil in America. As long as the money is paying for things, everything will go the way money wants it to. This is true from music, to advertising all the way to poliics. We as a society in whole no longer have a voice in America, but Corporations do, Why? Because they have the money. Think I am wrong? Watch a little documentary called Wal Mart: The High Cost of Low Prices and you will see what I am talking about.
