Open Mic Nites and New Music

Hello again Guys and Gals! I have been busy as of late behind the scenes of Hosstheboss.com. We have several new artists who have agreed to let us play their music. One even went and recorded professionally just so he could be played on the station. Look for Pake Rossi to be playing his brand of Texas Country on our station soon. I really loved his song Muddy River Blues that he played live at the Exec Surf Club and I know y’all will too!

Speaking of the Executive Surf Club…Hoss and I have been throwing around the idea of bringing back live shows from the open mic nite at the club! I love the originals that those guys down there are playing and would enjoy bringing them to y’all, but I want everyone’s feedback. Shoot me a line on this here little sit as to what you al lwould like to hear. Gimme a Yes or No as far as the Open Mic Nite Shows!

As far as my own show goes…I have found that there is no limit to the Metal Scene in SoTX! If all goes well, within the next moth or two, I will rock Corpus with some of the best Metal groups to be found. All independent bands of course. If you’re looking for Metallica or Korn go to mainstream. Robert Beltran, the drummer for X-CRETE, has jumped on board as my go to man for all things metal.     Hey Eric! How are you doing. If your talking about broadcasting open mic nite? I think thats a great idea. There are a lot of GOOD song writers in South Texas and some of them play there at times, and the music is always good.<<<>>>

    Yeah! The music is great at times…with one problem…Alot of the ppl there play covers and we are wanting originals. That’s hard to find…an artist who sings and writes his/her own music or plays music that is written just for them. There are sterling examples of those artisits who shine on occasion: David Martinez, Chris Witt, Pake just to name a few!
