New Music Now Available

We’ll, I had hoped to have the “Pick What We Play Song Voting Contest” show running by now, but since everyone involved behind the scenes with this little ole’ site (including me) has to work busy day jobs to make ends meet, we just haven’t made it there yet.

But we are getting very close to getting it on the air, and that means new music is coming soon to HossTheBoss.com.

While you’re waiting, explore the HossTheBoss.com music store to see some of the exciting new names whose music we have finally received permission to play. (Since we’re rebellious and don’t play royalties to BMI and ASCAP — because small bands like the ones we play rarely ever see any of the money small outfits like ours pay into the system — we have to get independent permission to play all of our music. That takes a while, especially when we’re talking about the bigger names.) Cory Morrow, Reckless Kelly, Ray Wylie Hubbard and others of their ilk are now in the music store and will be on the station very soon!

Thanks are due to Corpus Christi DJ Tony Kinsel. Tony, like me, has given up entirely on “real” radio and will be doing a show on HossTheBoss.com very soon. He has been working for several months behind the scenes to get permission for all of the above named bands (and othes). When his new show will begin, exactly, is hard to say. But it is coming soon, definitely! While you’re waiting for the show, head on over to Tony’s MySpace page and say hello.
