Loading ...Interesting notes about the December contest:
- Guest DJ Draystin was a last minute entry into the contest, and he chose a bunch of heavy metal songs. A few of those ended up being so dang popular that we took them out of this contest after week two and put them in a contest of their own. Their popularity also inspired us to give Draystin his own show faster than we’d planned. That starts in January.
- Guest DJ Tony Kinsel’s picks didn’t do as well as his November picks, but, since Draystin is doing his own metal show on the station in January, Tony wins the invitation to return to the show in January.
- More of Hoss’s December picks made it through to the final week than in November, but Hoss is still made at ya’ll for not voting enough for a few of his dang picks.

I just threw up in my mouth. The top two bands fighting for this thing should be Cross Canadian and The Kat Moore Band. I’m sorry Nancy and Luther but give me a break. Talent is talent, and this thing is a corpus christi popularity contest. I rock harder than all of you and if you don’t believe me just ask me. ye ha!!!

This has been a pretty close contest…
I like a few different songs here….
But I like the metal to… Good bands there also..
I seem to be leaning here toward Luther ,Paki Rossi ,Hilda Lamas song and Nancy Apple song are also pretty good….Good tunes..Nobody is running away with this…
