I could NEVER fight with Britt or her fans. When first discovered Britt about a year and a half back, I gave her every promotion I could, because I do honestly believe in her. Christless Records, run by the two Anthonys (one of them being me), presses her CD, “Half Cocked & Fully Loaded” because we love what she does and want her to be heard. Think I said it on the show … losing out to Britt would not disappoint me. I think she’s one of the finest undiscovered talents in country music, period.
That said, though … I really do appreciate the support, Dee. It’s been flattering to just compete here, and kinda surreal seeing her song and mine so close the whole way. It’s people like you and the Carlson fans that have kept me in this thing, and you’re making an ol’ scumbag feel proud of something he’s done. Thanks!
