Billy Joe Shaver – Live Forever (Buy, Dang It)

We love the old stuff by legends in country music!  This song was done with
Big and Rich.  It kind of sums up life!

Bruce Robison -  Wrapped (Buy, Dang It)

A great song written by Bruce out of Austin Texas!  George Strait took the song to I think #1 nationally. (But who really cares about stuff like that.)  This is just another great song requested a lot by our fans!

David Allen Coe – You Never Called Me By My Name (Buy, Dang It)

Kind of the National Anthem of Texas!  If you live in Texas you know Every word! Highway 59 plays this song every time we go out!

Eli Young – Always The Love Song (Buy, Dang It)

This is a great song done by some local guys from Tomball, Texas who have hit the big time. We’re proud of these guys around here.

Highway 59 – I’m So Lonesome (Buy, Dang It)

This is, of course, a great old tune by Hank William Sr. We have re-done the song to our style! Patrik Workman our lead singer and co- founder of Highway 59 has arranged what we feel is the greatest version of the song yet.
Jim Starr – Just One More Beer (Buy, Dang It)
Written by a great buddy of mine from Wharton Texas!  Jim has written some great songs along with being a great musician!

Little Texas – God Bless Texas (Buy, Dang It)

What else can I say! Ya’ll vote for this dang song this time!

Max Stalling – Ain’t Fallin’ In Love With You Tonigh (Buy, Dang It)

I was introduced to Max’s music by Patrik!  We listend to a couple of his
albums on our way deer hunting in Junction Texas!  A great musician who
has played the dancehalls and honky tonks around Texas!

The Captain Legendary Band – Brianna (Buy, Dang It)

A great song written by some friends of mine!  Talks about being happy a
relationship is over!

The Dave Elles Band – Midnight Train (Buy, Dang It)

Written by a freind of mine Dave Elles from Cypress Texas!  A catchy tune that should be a hit!

About Me:

I guess you would consider me a late in life Musical Bloomer. I picked up my first guitar at the age of 49! I am 52 now. I have been fortunate to meet and play with a lot of artists the last few years. A self taught at the bass guitar, I have played with the following bands in the Houston area:  Round 7, Nine 1 Nine, The Paul Francis Band, The Ali Katz, The Classic Rock Band.  I was one of the original organizers for Houston Musicians Group,  an organization of almost 1000 musicians in the Houston Area.  I’ve spent a good deal of time since I joined the music scene setting up open mics, finding gigs for bands, helping sell gear, and, of course, making new musician friends!  I have been fortunate in being such a new comer to the industry and have had such a diverse exposure. I have been in the recording studio for 4 different Band’s!  And I’ve written and co-written some songs. Currently, my biggest project is a band I started with 2 close friends, Pat Workman and Tom Corkery. We’re called Highway 59, and we cover most of the songs that I’ve picked this month! Check us out! I also have the largest bass players website on Myspace.  Over 2500 bass players from every country in the world.
