These songs are the top 5 finishers in the October edition of our silly contest. They’ll all join the top songs from previous 2009 months in the Finals in December. Voting is over for this month’s show, but it’ll all start up with another set of 30 new songs that we’ll debut in our next Live Show on Saturday, November 7 at 2 p.m. central time. We’ll be posting the formal list of new songs and guest in the contest right here sometime before Saturday (probably Wednesday or Thursday).

I just thought I’d post a note to let everyone know that Leigh Stenhouse of Romancing The Devil, from Greenville, South Carolina, will be on the live song-voting contest show this Saturday afternoon as we count down the top 10 songs remaining in the contest. Her song “I Wanna Go To Bed With You” is currently in 10th place, so she should be the first artist interviewed Saturday. Leigh’s been described by Dirt Road Randy as “the prettiest singer/songwriter” he knows. Don’t miss it!

I am pretty sure the word he used was “sexiest.” In fact, I’ll go ahead an presume that he MEANT to say “the fuckin’ sexiest.

Dang it, I just can’t believe that Dee came across me and my music on the myspace one day and now here I am on this cool station and also in the top 10 so far, I sure hope my luck holds out, Vince Kline
