October 24, 2009 Interviews

During the  Hossey Music Award Song Voting Contest Show for  October we interviewed several of the people behind our picks. We aired the interviews on Oct. 24. You can download the recordings below. But, before you do, please read a couple of things that we want you to think/know about.

1. Bandwith for HossTheBoss.com is not outrageously expensive, but it ain’t free. And this site is still far from profitable. So, if you’re going to download these interviews, just keep in mind that someone — namely me — is paying a little bit every time you do so. Donations appreciated (but never required). Click the support Hoss link at the top of every page of the site.

2. The interviews all include just a part of the song. We hate to do that, but, of course, since we never asked the bands for permission to make their songs available for free download, it’s the only right thing to do. If an interview gets your attention, and you want to hear a band’s song in its entirely again, well, you can listen to the station — the song will come up eventually, I’m sure — or you can buy the dang song and/or contact the band via links in Hoss’s Band Directory. The link is on the left.

The Interviews only play a few minutes? and where are the ones from Oct. 31st show! Thanks, Fray

    Don Cudd (aka Hoss) Reply:

We’ve had lots of technical difficulties with the October, 2009 interviews, but that’s all being fixed slowly-but-surely. All interviews from October — in their entirety — will be available for download soon. Exactly when “soon” is, though, I cannot say, unfortunately.

    Don Cudd (aka Hoss) Reply:

Okay… All interviews for October are now working properly, and they’re all on the site! Thanks for everyone’s patience!
