Congrats to Andy Lorge on winning the contest. He did a great job on his tune and I’m happy for him. To everyone else who competed I would like to say congrats to you too. You are all winners and it was a privilege to in the contest with you. Thanks as well to my friends and fans for taking time to participate. Hosstheboss has gained a lot of new listeners.

I am so excited to see April Hall in this competion! She is a beautiful person inside and out and full of talent! I first saw her playing in new braunfels at oma’s! When she sings you feel her passion and believe every word she sings! I agree with Mike!! She will go far and we will have th pleasure to sit back and watch it happen! April you have my vote!
Hello there Hoss! I have been listening closely to your broadcasts since Mike Parrish said that my song would be in the contest. As you know. I have a radio background as well and I can say with confidence that what you are doing is outstanding. Giving Indie artists the opportunity to be heard by a large and growing audience is very important. The way radio stations are run by corporations today keeps most of these great singers, song writers and musicians off the air. You give these folks the opportunity to compete, and when Indie artists are allowed to compete they win. The best music isn’t coming from Nashville, L.A. and New York. It’s coming from indie studios and artists from all across America. On behalf of the Indie artists let me say “Thank You”. I am certainly honored to be in there with all these other fine artists in the contest. And everyone who has competed is already a winner.
Best wishes to everyone in this contest.
Sincerely,
Buddy Hodges
I just wanted to say thank you to Hoss for believing in the conent of my song to allow it to have air time on his show, as well as to be allowed in this contest. I am honored to be doing so well, and want to thank all the listeners, friends, family and especially the support of the VETERANS who have helped this song do so well thus far in this contest. I want especially say thanks to my father, David Lorge, whom i wrote this song for.
If it wasn’t for our brave men and women who put their lives so selflessly on the line for us each and every day, we wouldn’t be allowed the freedoms to express ourselves through such venues as music, art, and speech.Thank You brave men and women!!!!!!!
and thank you God for giving the gift to express such as song in music and words.
sincerely,
Andy Lorge
This has been a great month of music with some truly gifted artists! I am surprised & honored that our little song is still on the list with the likes of Ruby Jane, Buddy Hodges, REK, Reckless Kelly, Mike Parrish… the list goes on! Last Saturday when I was on the show visiting with Hoss & Tony, I did what I always do – ramble on about nothing… I later realized that I never said what I wanted to say the most… THANK YOU to everybody that has voted for us!!! Sorry guys, I am such an airhead sometimes.
