Be listening this Sunday night, May 23rd, starting at 7pm CT, as I’ll be playing cds from 3 groups that have given me their personal permission to play their music on HTB.com, 1 from this month’s Hossey Music Awards Song-Voting Contest, and 2 I’ve already lined up for June! First up will be Cattywompus, from Austin, Texas, with their cd “Gospel Hymns & Original Sins”, from which I chose the song “Elizabeth Rose” for May’s contest.  Then I’ll play, from Beaumont, Texas,  Southern Embers’ debut self-titled cd, from which I’ve tentatively chosen their song “Damn Hippies” for June’s contest. Last up will be, from Corpus Christi, Texas, Indianola Railroad Co. and their cd “Long Road”, from which I’ve tentatively chosen the song “South Texas Drought” for next month. I say “tentatively” because I want your help in choosing a song from Southern Embers & Indianola Railroad Co.. If, after you hear them,  you’d rather I pick a different song off either of those 2 cds, e-mail me at tonykinsel@yahoo.com, and let me know your preference. “Real Interactive Radio” on HossTheBoss.com!! And, if you’re saying “Tony, you can’t possibly play 3 whole cds in only 2 hours!”, let me assure you, if the show runs over 2 hours, that’s fine. I will play all of the 3 cds. That’s the nice thing about being Music Director here, I can make my show as long as I like! Also, be sure to listen live this Sunday night, because I also program the hours from 9-11pm CT with songs I like, from groups you won’t normally hear anywhere else, like The Moonshine Bandits,  Sunny Ledfurd and Trill Billy, just to mention a few….
