This Sunday night, August 8th, starting at 7pm CT, I’ll be playing 2 cds I just got in from groups I’ve picked to be in August’s Hossey Music Awards Song-Voting Contest. 1st up will be The 484 South Band from Mississippi, and their cd “Mississippi Nights”, from which I chose the song “Lost Highway” as their contest entry. Then, I’ll be playing a group from Zionsville, Pennsylvania, The Corb Lund Band, and their cd “Five Dollar Bill”, from which I chose the song “Daughter, Don’t You Marry No Guitar Picker”, as their contest entry this month. Promises to be a good night of  “new-to-me” music, so “Don’t Miss It, Dang It”, (as Hoss would say!)!!
