November Interviews Now Available For Download
During the Hossey Music Award Song Voting Contest Show for November, 21, 2010 we did our usual: we invited all bands who made it into the Top 10 to be on the show for an interview. You can download the recordings below. But, before you do, we want you to think/know about a few things.
1. Bandwith for HossTheBoss.com is not outrageously expensive, but it ain’t free. And this site is still far from profitable. So, if you’re going to download these interviews, just keep in mind that someone — namely me — is paying a little bit every time you do so. Donations appreciated (but never required). Click the support Hoss link at the top of every page of the site.
2. The interviews all include just a part of the song. We hate to do that, but, of course, since we never asked the bands for permission to make their songs available for free download, it’s the only right thing to do. If an interview gets your attention, and you want to hear a band’s song in its entirely again, well, you can listen to the station — the song will come up eventually, I’m sure — or you can buy the dang song and/or contact the band via links in Hoss’s Band Directory. The link is on the left.
3. We invite everyone in the Top 10 for an interview, but we aren’t always able to make connection with everybody. (In fact, it’s rare that we have more than half of the Top 10 bands on the show.) Many musicians are traveling, playing gigs, working day jobs or just chillin’ out away from a telephone on Saturday afternoons, and so our schedules just don’t jibe with theirs. If we miss interviewing your favorite band in any given month, please know that we did our best and that we’ll, more than likely, have the band on the show again in a future month for another chance at an interview.
Here are the Interviews
Brian Burke
Shawn Lacey (of the Shawn & Hobby Band)
Antony Orio
Earlene Cash (of the Barnyard Cupcakes)

Am finally listening to the interviews. (well the first one anyway)
I loved the interview with Shawn from The Shawn & Hobby Band.
And then I went it iTunes and listened to the CD. .. and then I bought it!
If this keeps up as I listen to all of the interviews, I will have blown my music budget.
And don’t worry Leslie, I may pop in ‘next door’ to see them, but I will ALWAYS come back to Tootsies!
Thanks again for all you do, Hoss!
