The February contest is off to an incredibly fast start voting wise, and that’s probably because a bunch of the bands in this month’s show are no strangers to HossTheBoss.com. We’ve done previous interviews with at least a third of the field this month, and this week on the automated show, we’ll be replaying a lot of those ole’ chats (several will surely have some sort of spot in a HTB Hall of Fame if we ever get around to doing something like that).

Saturday’s Show (Feb. 12)

• We always try especially hard to make Saturday’s automated show worth staying up for, and a lot of friends of this month’s guest DJs Dee and Melissa might be excited to stay up for this one, especially: We’ll be replaying our March, 2010 interview with Christian Kane, and the interview we did on New Year’s day with Christian’s friend Riley Smith of The Life of Riley.

• Corpus Christi music fans might be interested in this one, especially. We’ll be replaying the live, mostly impromptu, acoustic set that David Martinez did on our show last month.

As always, all 30 songs in this month’s contest will get a spin during each automated show  We just don’t play the songs in any particular order during the show. We also play a good number of songs that were winners in previous editions of the show, too.
