- The Great Jimi Jamison (yes, formerly of Survivor) was our big winner in the April edition of our silly contest. His song “Love is Alive” is headed for The Finals in December along with each of the other Top Five songs for the month. (And make sure you listen to the show replays all this week if you missed the interview Hoss and Chuck did with Jimi on Saturday.) These are all the finalists. Make sure you’re back at the site for the start of our May contest. 30 new songs coming your way beginning with our next live show, 2 p.m. Central Time on Saturday, May 7.

I came here to vote for Hester after reading about this contest on MySpace. Now I’ve looked up Katie Thompson, after reading about her on here. I am now voting for both of these fine artists, and I’d like to thank you guys for bringing them to my attention. I’ll be voting for the 2 of them for the rest of the month, and maybe a few other new groups as well.

Wolfman: Hoss changed the rules during the contest today, and now voting will continue for all the remaining 23 bands until the final Saturday of April! That means we could still vote Katie into the top 5, maybe even into 1st place! Tell all your friends and fellow Katie-fans, vote every day until the end!!!!!

Hey Tony…thanks for the heads up! I saw that; but it wasn’t clear to me, so I guess we have a lot of work to do. As far as I’m concerned, Katie should be at the top of the list. As you know, her sound is all her own and when you hear “Impossible”, her 2nd album, you’ll probably agree that it has an infectious vibe. I’ve already voted today, so maybe I’ll put up a post on “The Pack’s” web site asking for some support. I’m sure if we hit this hard, we can get Katie into the top 5.
