There are some good tunes this time around. I must say I’m loven me some “Rooster” and “Earth Eats Dog” and especially Dave Younger’s–Karaoke King. I’m checking out more as I go. That “Snake Handling Preacher”

Cat Darlin’ let me know when you’re putting another song in the contest…I want to make SURE I don’t enter that month! I agree whole-heartedly about Rooster, Earth Eats Dog and Them CRAZY Snake Handlers. Over all this is my favorite month yet…except for the first time I heard CAT MCLEAN!

Billy Kohout is The Man!! I just voted for Earth Eats Dog, Vintage, Rooster, Grimm Jack & The Heartless Devils! This contest has too many great groups to only be able to vote for 5 a day, so I’ll be back tomorrow to vote for 5 different ones!

Well, dang it… at the risk of making John even more upset (see his stupid comments on the February contest page), I’ll just say that the reason Crappy Ass continues as our main man is because we use an old-but-still-very-good broadcasting software that does not run on Windows Vista or 7. So, any new computer we get would have to have Windows XP installed — or we would have to get (and learn) new broadcasting software.
Neither of those options are practical for this little outfit at this time.
So Crappy Ass will have to do. And, for the most part, he’s a great ole’ guy! (He just celebrated his 6th birthday on February 16, by the way. That’s 196 in computer years.)
Oh yes, and Crappy Ass wants everyone to know that last Saturday’s fiasco was not one bit his fault. It was his cousin’s Old Ass Sound Board who was to blame for that one. Old Ass has been treated to his annual bath, and all is well as of this typing.
