I was reading your story about the end of the contest. If it ended “anti-climatically” (like you wrote), does that mean the outcome of the show affected the Earth’s climate? I think you meant “anti-climactically”? At least that’s what they taught me in the California school system!

We’re not prudes, here in Texas. Climaxes are important. So I suppose I’ll stick with climate angle.

Glad to see that 3 I’m voting for are in the top 5. Sad to see that 2 who get my vote aren’t. Tons of talent in this month’s show. I’m up to my butt in alligators this month but I still try to tune in now and then.

Thanks, David. I’m glad to see 1 of Hoss’s former picks likes a song I picked!
Be listening this Friday (Old Crappy Ass permittiing) to our interview with Cody Canada when he talks about The Ballad Of Rosalie”. I also got him to tell us the story behind CCR’s song “51 Pieces”. You can’t miss that one! (Dang It!)

I gave up pizza when all the establishments stopped serving mayonnaise as a topping.
The stream is back running again, Mr. Fishey Poo…
(By the way… to all who are confused by the mayonnaise, pizza, and “who gave you that dang name” references, well, that is a series of inside jokes that only some weird dude in Sacramento (at least I think that’s where he still is) and an even weirder dude in San Antonio will understand.)
It’s smellin’ too fishey in here about now! I need some dang fresh air…

I heard the story of how Hoss got his name. He was at KOUL radio in C.C., when the program director, a DJ named Catshit, (or something like that), gave him his name. It was either that or “Chewin’ Cudd”!
