The other day a friend and I spent an hour or so researching the legality of a business project he has in mind. When we were done, we had a good idea of how the project should proceed for best legal results. But, just to be safe, my friend paid a lawyer $250 to confirm our ideas. Two weeks later, the lawyer mailed a report that we could have written better ourselves. Geez!
