Today's Hossey Music Awards Song Voting Show Features

Here's where you can get a little preview of special stuff (aside from all the songs still in the contest, of course) coming up on the latest Hossey Music Award Song Voting Contest Automated shows (which air at 2 a.m. & p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and 2 a.m. on Saturdays.)

Don't forget the live show that airs every Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. (and replays on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays).

Hossey Awards Show Featured Stuff for March 14 – 20

The March show is in full swing, and, in fact, we’ve already eliminated 10 songs that didn’t make the Top 20 on March 12. So this week, one of the automated show features that you might like best is the one that happens every week: we’ll be playing ALL of the songs that were in the contest originally. So that means, the 10 that we eliminated will still get their share of Hoss Time on the show this week. (So you can hear all the great songs that you didn’t vote for enough, dang it!) Also on this week’s show, since people are still abuzz about our February show, we’ll be replaying the interviews that we did with some of the Top vote getters on that show. (This will, hopefully, get you in the mood for March’s interview week that will be coming up on our next live show, March 19.

Hossey Awards Show Featured Stuff for March 1-5

While we’re gettin’ ready for the March edition of our silly show with 30 new songs coming during our live show on March 5, you can hear a lot of “bonus” songs from some of February’s contestants during this week’s automated version of the show. In fact, each of the “bonus segments” this week (portions of the show in which we usually play repeats of interviews we’ve done with some of the bands) will feature about 45 minutes worth of “other” songs by some of the bands in the February show. We’ll have stuff from The Common Revolution, Jashuwah, Rosalee, Paul McCormick (yeah, even if he didn’t make the Top 10), Wendy Rich, Hilda Lamas, and a bunch of the other names we all came to know and love in February.

If you’re waiting around to hear replays of some of the great interviews we did on Feb. 26’s final show of the month, well, we’ll have those on the automated show next week. Otherwise, you can hear them all again on Wednesday when that live show repeats for the last time.

Hossey Awards Show Featured Stuff for Feb. 8 – 12

The February contest is off to an incredibly fast start voting wise, and that’s probably because a bunch of the bands in this month’s show are no strangers to HossTheBoss.com. We’ve done previous interviews with at least a third of the field this month, and this week on the automated show, we’ll be replaying a lot of those ole’ chats (several will surely have some sort of spot in a HTB Hall of Fame if we ever get around to doing something like that).

      Tuesday’s Show (Feb. 8)
      Show Starts at 2 p.m. & a.m. Central Time

      • Replay of our conversation last fall with Rosalee of Las Vegas whose song is among the Top 10 in the early going this month.
      • Replay of the interview we did last moth with Jim Oakes of the 484 South Band. Jim is back in the contest again this month with a song that he recorded before hooking up with the guys in 484 South.

Show Starts at 2  a.m. Central Time

Bonus Segment #1 –  20 minutes into the show

      • We always try especially hard to make Saturday’s automated show worth staying up for, and a lot of friends of this month’s guest DJs Dee and Melissa might be excited to stay up for this one, especially: We’ll be replaying our March, 2010 interview with Christian Kane, and the interview we did on New Year’s day with Christian’s friend Riley Smith of The Life of Riley.

Bonus Segment #2 –  approximately 2 hours into show

      • Corpus Christi music fans might be interested in this one, especially. We’ll be replaying the live, mostly impromptu, acoustic set that David Martinez did on our show last month.
