This time all of them are from the Corpus Christi area. I’ll be playing them in this order: Hobo–A Song For Piece; Indianola RailRoad Co.–Red Head; Jimmy Willden & The Outtakes–How To Deal; Johnny Kiser Band–Texas Heroes; Lyrical Bynge–Forever In A Dream; Neal Edwards & Reckless Abandon–It Was You; “Rockin’ Ricke” Burnette–Tryin’ To Live Without Her; RoughEdge–Sister; Steve Garcia–I Can’t Be Without You; & Ty Dietz–Wipe It On The Tailgate!! After I play my 10 picks, I’ll put on more music from these same artists. It promises to be a great show, with lots of music you probably haven’t heard before, so “Don’t Miss It, Dang It” (as Hoss has been known to say!)!!

This Sunday night, December 18th, starting at 7pm CT, I’ll be playing the brand new cd that Jim Oakes of The 484 South Band just sent me, “21 Miles Of Bad Road”. Following that, I’ll play their 1st cd “Mississippi Nights”, that Jim sent me last year. It’s going to be a fun evening with a Rockin’ Country band from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, that’s recommended if you like Lynyrd Skynrd, The Allman Brothers & The Marshall Tucker Band. So, don’t miss it, dang it, or you’ll miss some really good music. (And, I promise I will not play a liner between each song!) LOL

On November 6th, I featured whole cds from 2 of my November Hossey Music Awards Song-Voting Contest picks, A Boy Named Sioux & Southern Yankee. On Sunday, Nov. 13th, & Sunday, Nov. 20th, starting at 7pm CT, I’ll be featuring music from 8 of my November picks that I don’t have whole cds from (yet!). I’ll be playing them in this order: up 1st will be 29 Mules, followed by Amanda Bare, Jamie Nattier, Jona Leigh, Lonerock, Rowdy Johnson Band, Two Door Ford, & Vintage. I’ll play their contest entry songs first, then however many songs I have from them, until I’ve filled my 2 hour show. You’ll get a chance to hear music you probably haven’t heard before, so, as Hoss has been known to say, “Don’t Miss It, Dang It”!! (or you’ll miss something really good!)
